In today’s program on Actualidad Radio with Juan Camilo, I addressed highly relevant immigration topics, discussed recent changes in the H-1B visa<\/a> and the I-907 form (Request for Premium Processing)<\/a>, highlighting the importance of selecting premium processing at the beginning of the electronic application.<\/p>\n

We also warned about fraud related to the National Interest Waiver and the EB2 visa<\/a>. Many people are being misled with promises of easily obtaining residency under this category without truly meeting the strict requirements set by immigration authorities. We recommend always consulting with an expert attorney before investing in costly processes.<\/p>\n

I answered audience questions about how to obtain marriage and divorce records for citizenship<\/strong>, and clarified that having a payment agreement with the IRS does not affect the citizenship application if payments are up to date<\/strong>. Additionally, we discussed travel permits<\/strong>, especially for those with TPS<\/strong><\/a> or DACA<\/a><\/strong>, emphasizing that they should not stay outside the country for more than six months.<\/p>\n

I explained the new interpretations of the Child Status Protection Act (CSPA)<\/strong><\/a>, which can benefit certain children over 21 years old in immigration processes, and advised consulting with an attorney to understand how to correctly apply this law.<\/p>\n

Finally, I commented on the possible immigration policies of the presidential candidates and how they could impact the immigrant community. It’s important to stay informed and seek proper advice.<\/p>\n
